Tasks

Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tablesClean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal unitsClear and clean tables, trays and chairsLoad buspans and traysOperate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatwarePlace dishes in storage areaSanitize and wash dishes and other items by handScour pots and pansPortion and wrap foodsPrepare, heat and finish simple food itemsServe customers at counters or buffet tablesStock refrigerators and salad barsTake customers' ordersUse manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffsClean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipmentHandle and store cleaning productsReceive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areasRemove kitchen garbage and trashSharpen kitchen knivesSweep, mop, wash and polish floorsWash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
