Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operationsOrganize and maintain inventoryEnsure health and safety regulations are followedSet staff work schedules and monitor staff performanceAddress customers' complaints or concernsProvide customer serviceRecruit, train and supervise staffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety proceduresSupervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion foodPrepare and submit reportsMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastageEstablish work schedulesEstimate and order ingredients and suppliesEnsure food service and quality controlHire food service staffMust have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
